COLLECTIBLE VERMONT TEDDY BEARS

"24 years ago, I made my first stuffed animal; a bear named Bearcho, with my old sewing machine in Vergennes, Vermont. I made Bearcho for my first son Graham. I watched him in his early age play with all his stuffed animals. It was fun! Since them, I have made some million or two stuffed animals. The company I founded was called the Vermont Teddy Bear Co. During my 24 years there, I made many kinds of stuffed animals; from Bears and Cows to Mastodons. I believe in stuffed animals and there magical power. We hug them when we need to, we look at them and smile, we talk to them and they become our friends. True heir looms that we pass on from generation to generation. It is with all that experience I bring you Monkey Grams. Monkeys really make us smile. They always have."

John Sortino, President and Founder of World Wide Monkey

"COLLECTABLE VERMONT TEDDY BEARS" During John's 15 years at the Vermont Teddy Bear Co. he saved some great stuffed animals for his collection. Each one of them has been saved as new from the day they were made. These are some of John's favorites. Each one of these classics has a story and makes a great gift for the true collector. These wonderful stuffed animals on sale are new, meaning that they have never been played with or handled except for storage. John Sortino founded Vermont Teddy Bear in 1980 and was the president and head designer for 15 years.
